Yamaha F200XB 200HP Outboard Motor – 25" Shaft, EFI, Variable Camshaft Timing for Superior Performance

The Yamaha F200XB is a flagship In-Line Four 200HP outboard delivering exceptional power-to-weight in a compact, lightweight design. With a 2.8L (2785cc) DOHC 16-valve engine featuring Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT), it provides outstanding low- and mid-range torque, quick acceleration, and smooth, quiet operation – ideal for center consoles, bay boats, dual consoles, offshore fishing rigs, and multi-engine setups.

This mechanical remote control model (F200XB) includes Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) for precise fuel delivery, excellent throttle response, and impressive fuel efficiency on economical 89-octane fuel. The high-output 50-amp alternator supports demanding electronics like GPS, fishfinders, radios, and lights. Yamaha's advanced features include a freshwater flush device for easy maintenance, variable trolling RPM control, and a reliable shift dampener system for smoother, quieter gear changes.

Weighing just 489 lbs with its 25" extra-long shaft (perfect for higher transoms on larger boats or jack plates), the F200XB is one of the lightest in its class, making it easier to handle, better for balance, and more efficient on the water. Proven in real-world performance bulletins (e.g., 40+ mph top speeds on 22-26 ft boats with excellent MPG), owners praise its reliability, minimal vibration, and long-term durability backed by Yamaha's legendary corrosion resistance and warranty.

Whether repowering a center console, running twins on a bay boat, or outfitting a new offshore vessel, the Yamaha F200XB combines modern technology with bulletproof engineering for unmatched performance and peace of mind.

Real-world feedback from boaters highlights easy starts, quiet running, strong hole shots, and great economy – making it a top choice for serious anglers and recreational boaters.
